Reels Scrubber is a Chrome extension that adds a seek bar, speed control, volume control, and frame preview strip to videos on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Nothing. Reels Scrubber does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or browsing data. It makes no network requests, has no accounts, and uses no analytics or tracking.
Your playback speed, sound on/off choice, and volume level are saved in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own computer so they apply to your next video. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it by removing the extension.
On instagram.com, tiktok.com, and facebook.com, the extension finds the video elements on the page so it can control playback and draw preview frames onto a local canvas in your browser. It does not read page text, messages, forms, cookies, or account information, and it does not run on any other website.
None. No data is shared with anyone.
